Description:

At LiLi + KoKo Boutique + Bubbles, we are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven work experience in a restaurant or bar setting
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Strong knowledge of POS software
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Relevant training certificate
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, retail experience a plus
  • Ability to memorize and explain the restaurant’s menu to staff and customers
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clear verbal communication skills
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Clear attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of current food and beverage trends
  • SafeServ certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
  • BSc/BA in business; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus

Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Interact with customers and build positive rapport with different types of people
  • Ensure proper compliance with restaurant hygiene regulations
  • Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers that results in repeat visits and long-term brand loyalty

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant customers
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and mocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
