We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to lead our team and elevate the bar to new heights.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Bar Manager of The Library Bar, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar’s operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and maintaining the bar’s reputation as one of Copenhagen’s premier establishments. You will lead a team of skilled bartenders and staff, manage inventory, and curate a menu that reflects both classic and innovative drinks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-end bar or restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus.

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, train, and inspire a team of bartenders and support staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Customer Experience: Ensure all guests receive outstanding service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Menu Development: Curate and update the beverage menu, balancing classic cocktails with new, creative offerings that appeal to a diverse clientele.
• Event Planning: Coordinate and manage events at the bar, from private parties to themed nights, enhancing The Library Bar’s reputation as a go-to venue.
• Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote The Library Bar, both within the hotel and to the broader Copenhagen community.
