  • Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular stock counts, and placing orders to ensure the bar is well-stocked for peak service times.
  • Oversee and execute banquet bar events, including handling inventory for events, ordering supplies, and managing bar setup.
  • Work the actual bar for events, ensuring high-quality service and smooth operations during banquets, private parties, and special events.
  • Maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure proper stock rotation, keeping costs within budget.
  • Assist guests with menu recommendations, wine pairings, and cocktail suggestions in a knowledgeable and engaging manner.
  • Ensure all bar staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Train and mentor new bartenders, ensuring they understand our service expectations and standards.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, including bill settlement, managing voids, discounts, and adjustments.
  • Supervise the bar team during peak hours, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service even in high-volume situations.
  • As closing manager, take responsibility for securing the restaurant at the end of the night, including cash reconciliation, locking up, and ensuring inventory is properly stored and accounted for.
  • Perform other closing duties such as cleaning and organizing the bar, preparing it for the next service day, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Work with the restaurant management team to create promotions and marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Address internal issues or guest concerns with professionalism, tact, and a focus on effective resolution.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the restaurant’s operations.
