What you will do?:
- Lead and motivate the bar team with a hands-on, dynamic approach during overnight shifts
- Oversee nightly operations of the bar, ensuring smooth workflow, efficient service, and guest satisfaction
- Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene protocols are followed for food and beverage operations
- Conduct nightly cash handling, reconciliations, and POS system management
- Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence
- Monitor weekly inventory, oversee stock control, and ensure accurate reporting of usage and wastage
- Handle guest enquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution and positive outcomes
- Maintain compliance with liquor licensing regulations and company policies at all times
More about you:
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and Responsible Service of Gambling certificate
- Previous experience managing a high-volume bar, ideally in a hospitality or casino environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Proven experience in managing nightly operations, including cash handling, reporting, and end-of-shift procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of licensed premises management requirements
- In-depth understanding of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages, including trends and service protocols
- Experience implementing and maintaining HACCP requirements and safety standards
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and maintain a professional demeanour during overnight shifts
