Description:

WHO WE ARE

Extraordinary places, passionate people, and shared learning experiences: this is Aethos. We believe that traveling and hospitality should leave a lasting positive impact on the mind, body, and soul. That’s the reason why we choose our locations very carefully and work together with people who want to be part of a community instead of just ”having a job”. Everyone who works at Aethos can make a personal impact on the community and company - great ideas can come from anywhere. We are a young and dynamic hospitality company that understands the value of time with friends and loved ones. We make a conscious choice towards sustainability and wellbeing, and the luxury of time and space. We stand for freedom from the stresses and anxieties of modern life. We want to be the first choice for anyone who seeks respite and refuge from the boring, the stressful, and the unsustainable. That’s why we define hospitality differently: while all of our decisions should be made with the community and needs of our guests in mind, we always thrive to create a community that we want to be part of and that improves the world around us. We invite you to be part of our story.

ABOUT AETHOS MONTEROSA

In the middle of the Aosta Valley below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers lies Aethos Monterosa. A 30-room five-star luxury resort with two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. We are currently on a pre-winter season break, and when we reopen, the hotel has to be filled with life and a new team! The essence of great hospitality will however always be an outstanding team. That’s why we are looking for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Stock and Supply Management: Are you organized and detail-oriented? You’ll be responsible for keeping the bar stocked with everything from spirits to garnishes. Ensuring that bartenders have what they need, when they need it, is crucial to a smooth service.
  • Glassware and Equipment Handling: Do you have a keen eye for cleanliness and order? You’ll make sure that all glassware is clean and polished, bar tools are in place, and equipment is functioning properly, creating a seamless experience for both bartenders and guests.
  • Assisting Bartenders: Are you a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment? You’ll be the go-to person for bartenders, helping with prepping ingredients, retrieving supplies, and keeping the bar area organized and efficient during busy shifts.
  • Bar Area Maintenance: Do you believe that a clean bar is a happy bar? You’ll maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including taking out trash, replenishing ice, and ensuring that the workspaces are tidy and safe.
  • Customer Service Support: Ready to jump in and assist wherever needed? Whether it’s refilling water glasses, delivering drinks to tables, or engaging with guests in a friendly manner, you’ll help ensure that every guest feels attended to and satisfied.
  • Learning and Growth: Are you eager to learn the craft of bartending? As a Barback, you’ll have the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced bartenders, setting the stage for potential growth within our bar team.
