Inspired by the vibrant late-night cultures of New York and London, complete with the undertones of Parisian chic, STEREO offers a masterfully curated mix of music, food, and drinks. STEREO features an extensive drinks menu, American inspired culinary bar classics, and an eclectic and dynamic music programme. The bar offering sees local products from Partizan Brewery and Thames Distillers (including a STEREO house vodka & gin). The music ties it all together, with a rotating series of resident DJs and curated one-off performances.

ABOUT US

The Experimental Group was founded in 2007 by three childhood friends, Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros and Romée de Goriainoff. Xavier Padovani later joined them and shared their vision: to offer the ultimate hospitality experience to an ever-demanding clientele.
Celebrated for bringing the cocktail bar culture to Paris, the Experimental Group operates Experimental Cocktail Club bars in Paris, London, Venice and Verbier; wine bars, Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, in Paris, London and New York City; restaurants and beach clubs in Menorca, Verbier, Paris, Venice, Ibiza and London; and hotels in London, the Cotswolds, Paris, Ibiza, Verbier, Menorca, Venice and Biarritz.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The barback is critical to the successful activity of the venue: fast, problem-solving, and organised, the barback works hard to deliver the best bar set-up and continues to provide incredible support during service hours.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set-up of the bar stations in collaboration with the bartenders: fruits, herbs, garnishes, spirits, syrups, glassware, tools, etc.
• Fresh juice, fruits, garnishes, etc.: during the service prepare and take them to the bartenders.
• Stock of the bar stations: keep the bar fully stocked at all times with fruits, herbs, garnishes, spirits, syrups, glassware, tools, etc.
• Backbar: ensure the area is always clean and tidy.
• Maintenance of the equipment: Looking after equipment and cleanliness.
• Glassware: keep a steady supply of perfectly cleaned and dried glassware at the bartender’s disposal.
• Bar storage place: responsible tidying.
• Ice machine: clean it regularly.
• Juice machine: empty regularly the juice machine during the service, ensuring that the machine is thoroughly cleaned at the end of each service.
• Health & Safety: apply all safety and quality regulations.
