Novant Health is seeking an experienced Bariatric Advanced Practice Provider to join a growing Bariatric program of 5 providers, 2 dieticians and 2 behavioral therapists in Kernersville, NC. Our clinic offers a multidimensional approach for lifelong weight control by providing patients nutritional, psychological and exercise education along with support throughout each stage of our patient’s weight loss journey. We are looking for a patient-focused, compassionate, caring, and honest provider to assist in the surgical and medical management of obesity. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a care team approach, educating patients and is committed to the health and wellness of not only our patients but the communities from which they come. Our program focuses on patient care as well as team member care. Our team supports each other and welcomes personal and professional growth. We are looking for a provider who wants to grow and bring creative and innovative ways to care for our patients and grow our program. This position is M-F from 8-5. Experience with surgical assist, bariatric surgery, bariatrics/weight loss and/or family medicine preferred. RNFA certification required for NP’s or ability to obtain by 12/31/2024.
Our expert surgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work collaboratively to provide remarkable care to our operative and non-operative patients. The selected APP will be responsible for performing a variety of functions under the supervision of our surgeons.
Kernersville is rural living with a diverse population with family oriented environment. Includes grade A schools and variety of great resturants and lots of shopping stores.
