Job Description
Do you have a passion for making high quality beverages while working in a fast paced environment running food, demonstrating effective table maintenance and exceeding guests’ expectations?
Our Baristas play an integral role in the overall success of the stylish gourmet outlet through portraying excellent communication and attention to detail.
Starting Rate: $17.33 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $18.85.

Job Duties Include:

  • Discuss food and beverage items, make suggestions and answer any guest inquiries
  • Take guest orders accurately and process purchases using the POS system
  • Operate coffee making equipment and present beverages according to recipe and presentation standards
  • Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have Pro-Serve Certification
  • Previous barista or food and beverage experience in a high-volume and fast paced environment required
  • Previous point-of-sale system experience required
  • Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
  • Must be able to lift and carry 30+ lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more
