Earlier this year we opened our exclusive members’ only Deli; The Dunbar, serving pre-and post-workout smoothies, breakfast pots, hot drinks and a selection of freshly prepared salads, toasties, pastries, cakes and more.

Responsibilities:

As a Food Beverage Assistant in The Dunbar, our Private Members’ Lounge, you will work as part of a team with responsibility for the following:

  • Assist with opening and closing of the Private Members Lounge, ensuring areas are ready for service and are cleaned down and secure at the end of each shift
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
  • Upsell and suggest additional items and new offerings to enhance the guest experience
  • Prepare and serve at the counter tea’s, coffees, smoothies, toasties etc
  • Check Membership cards and process payments accurately
  • Adhere to all Health Safety regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure consistent and high quality products
  • Ensure tables are cleared and cleaned regularly
  • Stay updated on current food and drink trends and new menu items
  • Carry out duties in all Food Beverage areas, including Banqueting and Restaurant when required

    What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a barista or team member in a similar role preferred

  • Proven experience in a Private Members’ club preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
