The Base Area Attendant will be an essential member of Woodward Park City’s Base Operations team, reporting to the Base Operations Manager. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual who will ensure that our guests can easily arrive and depart from the resort, provide guidance about the experiences we offer and where to go and ensure a clean and smooth daily operation.

While every day is different, and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Base Area Attendant:

  • Provides a high level of service to our guests.
  • Support parking operations by controlling flow, communicating and directing guests, and adjusting signage.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways, stairs, and decks utilizing shovels, snowblowers, and salt spreaders.
  • Perform cleaning and custodial duties such as emptying trash cans around the grounds and in the facilities.
  • Assist in all other base area operations including maintenance and greeting.
  • Be a flexible support to various events, operations, and projects.
  • Understands and operates in compliance with department training and safety requirements.
  • Make safety a top priority in all aspects of daily work.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Has a guest service mindset and outgoing personality.
  • Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and work as a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to make quick decisions regarding safety.
  • Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment, including adverse weather conditions.
