Description:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our new Development & Projects team to oversee and manage the end-end supply chain for our utility-scale battery storage systems (BESS) projects in Western Europe.
You will be part of a new team with an exciting growth ambition, with the opportunity to not only execute but also proactively shape the future of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and define the overall supply chain strategy, in collaboration with our legal, procurement, sustainability and business teams
- Evaluate and build a network of relevant suppliers and partners around battery technology, electrical engineering, procurement and construction
- Define procurement criteria, process and quality standards. Own and manage supplier relationships, plan and execute tenders, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery during construction projects
- Monitor market in terms of technology, innovation and cost trends and suggest related commercial strategies
- Collaborate with business developers, project managers and other stakeholders during different stages of a BESS project, from project acquisition to final commissioning. Provide inputs for decision-making, perform required assessments
- Develop quality standards and ensure that all BESS components and systems meet established technical, legal, compliance and sustainability standards
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including disruptions, delays, and quality issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure continuous supply chain operations
- Analyze and optimize supply chain costs and implement measures to improve cost efficiency
