Description:
SUMMARY
The ABA Clinical Director BCBA, LBA- will provide oversight for our patient (Day Treatment, ABA services, and residential) behavioral services to toddlers, adolescents, pre-teens, teens and young adults with social, communication, executive functioning and behavioral challenges. Our mission is to help these individuals move closer to independence.
This position will provide oversight, training, networking, and quality assurance, to our team providing ABA services in a variety of settings (schools, homes, community settings, clinical settings). The position will require 80 hours a month of billable services to approved authorization.
The ABA Clinical Director is the clinical counterpart to our Mental Health Clinical Director, working helping to lead the team and make important decisions regarding the individuals we serve for the area they are in.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.
- Engage, mentor, and inspire our team of BCBAs, Behavior Analyst Interns, and RBTs while also handling a small client caseload.
- You will be in charge of clinical quality compliance with Crimson, ensuring we are providing the premiere level of clinical excellence with our clients.
- Provide 80 treatment hours per month for your clients, based on your productivity agreement.
- Assist with intakes, delegating assessment to other BCBA’s and BCBA’s in training, as well as discharge and transition planning for clients on your caseload and the BCBA’s Review assessment, progress, and discharge reports.
- Lead, supervise and provide ongoing professional development for our clinical team.
- Manage ABA clinical operations in our region Spanish fork/Salem Area. In addition to management help grow ABA services in collaboration with leadership team in the region.
- Provide supervision for Behavior Analyst Interns and guide their growth into great BCBAs, this includes delegation of responsibilities to Behavior Analyst interns and licensed behavior analyst.
- Ensure that all the supervised staff possess the necessary credentials and training and are highly qualified to perform services.
- Assess incoming assessments and assign cases to Behavior Analyst helping them maintain their hours and supporting new incoming referrals. As services increase in the area and more administrative time is needed to manage non-billable tasks, potential reduction in billable hours would need to be communicated.
- Help build an RBT team, directing them to the training and course to get certified, doing the competency assessment and getting the certification. Helping them get set up on the website.
- Developing systems to support this growth.
- The goal is to help take on a case load that can be transferred to another BCBA as we build and grow out services. The process will be continual as we grow and hire new clinicians and establish services in new areas. This may also occur when we transition from one clinician to another.
- Phone calls and meetings with stakeholders, representing the organization, collaborating with a team of case managers, clinicians, administrators to find the best treatment options available for our ABA cases.
- Clinical Director will be involved in the daily operations of the company. They will assist in hiring, training and the development of the clinical team. They will help put in systems for the company to ensure the team’s mission and values are in alignment within the organization; including the pilot of our data collection app and training RBTs and BCBAs on how to use it.
- Taking on high profile cases and specialty cases to help with growing the business and increasing direct service hours.
- Design and implement business strategies to assist the clinic to realize business goals. Helping the company sustain and grow direct services hours. Assist in developing an infrastructure to support the growth. This includes exploration into residential and transitional services for youth, as well as exploring OT and ST options as an expansive service offering.
- Oversee the documentation compliance with insurance policies, guidelines and standards.
- Work in conjunction with the Chief Clinical Officer of ABA and the Regional Director to expand and grow the business to new areas and locations by networking and recruiting new therapists and administrative team members.
- Collaborate with mental health therapists, psychologists and other disciplines to find solutions of care that meet the needs of the client.
- Communicate with families of those clients who are participating in clinical programs at Crimson Heights and disseminate information as needed for round table discussions and team meetings for consulting on appropriate levels of care and treatment plans.
- Perform quarterly and annual employee reviews and provide feedback on their performance to help motivate their dedication to professional goals.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- At minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role over other BCBAs

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
