Sales Executive / BDM
We’re on the look out for a rockstar sales professional to join our brilliant Business Lending team in Melbourne.

How you’ll make an impact:
In this role, you will use your drive and passion for winning, sales, delivering solutions and building relationships. Take overall ownership to generate and convert new business opportunities, deliver Commercial Finance solutions, build new and enhance existing networks as well as develop and execute a successful Sales and Marketing strategy.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understand their needs and identify working capital finance solutions that will give them the best chance of success
  • Build new relationships with key external stakeholders, such as Introducers, Brokers, Accountants, debt advisors etc.
  • Prospect and generate business across a range of industries, including transport, supply chain, mining, construction and agriculture
  • Design and deliver an effective Sales and Marketing strategy for ScotPac Business Finance solutions
  • Enhance and maintain existing relationships within your network
  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed targets
  • Acquire new business and cross sell to existing clients
  • Oversee execution of legal documentation in accordance with ScotPac guidelines/procedures

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrable success in Sales and acquiring new business is desirable
  • Strong financial acumen with an excellent understanding of business lending.
  • Established network of introducer and broker relationships is preferable
  • A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Collaboration skills with ability to build good working relationships across customer base and the organisation
  • Results driven mindset, with ability to take on personal challenge of driving and delivering business results and outcomes
