Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business Development team in strategy development to drive revenue and ensure profitability.
  • Maintain the sales pipeline and salesforce data to ensure reporting is accurate and timely and reflective of the market opportunity and risks while reviewing individual performance.
  • Represent the LexisNexis brand with customers to ensure successful long-term growth.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and develop tactical plans to pursue and execute on these.
  • Provide overall strategic leadership and functional management of all sales activities for the business development team.
  • Coaching to improve skills within the team and encourage best practice sharing.
  • Review sector penetration and identifying trends in market and business performance to direct the team to new opportunities.
  • Working with and leveraging internal stakeholders to plan marketing events, content and product feedback.
  • Attending industry events and promoting the brand alongside team members.
  • Working with integration partners and industry partners and associations to encourage lead generation
