KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferable in Marketing or business related discipline or suitable relevant experience.
  • Experience in retail, beauty or luxury sector an advantage.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and campaigns at rapid retail pace.
  • A natural flair for building advocacy and strong industry relationships.
  • Proven track record of developing, executing and measuring marketing strategies in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of G Suite, Canva, Adobe, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint.
  • Goal driven with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Solution focused and an ability to get up to speed quickly.
  • An absolute passion for the beauty industry and understanding of marketing strategies in luxury retail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines across multiple projects.
  • An innovative and critical thinker who has their finger on the pulse for luxury and beauty marketing and digital best practice.
  • An excellent leader with a positive can-do attitude with proven ability to manage a team.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and drive a strategic and insight-led marketing and communication plan across our Beauty and Beauty Services categories at Brown Thomas Arnotts.
  • To act as the main point of contact in the Marketing Department for all beauty and beauty services for internal and external partners.
  • To work cross functionally with internal stakeholders including operations, omni-channel and buying to deliver memorable and relevant communications and campaigns.
  • To work alongside the Beauty buying functions to collaborate on plans and create strategic marketing campaigns to support business KPI’s.
  • To work collaboratively within the marketing team (PR, Social Media, Content, Styling, CRM, Graphics, Design, Events and Influencer team) to ensure the category is represented across all consumer touchpoints.
  • To carefully manage external stakeholders including brands and partners, media and creative agencies and industry experts to ensure best in class communications.
  • To manage and develop the category team and operational workflow to ensure campaigns and all activity is activated in a timely manner.
  • Secure brand marketing investment through retail media proposition by identifying opportunities, leveraging insights, and aligning with brand goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Brief relevant internal team(s) / agency to develop creative campaigns and communications across the category.
  • In collaboration with media agencies develop compelling and effective media campaigns and measure against objectives.
  • Management of marketing budget across all owned divisions.
  • Effectively manage and activate calendar of campaigns and events across all categories for all BTA stores.
  • Event management of key consumer activations in stores.
  • Represent the business at key internal and external meetings and international travel.
  • Develop strategic beauty category plans and where required brand marketing.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with brand partners to activate local marketing plans and consumer engagement campaign roll out across BTA stores and sites.
  • Brand and external stakeholder management across all partners in categories
  • Drive content development for digital communications (organic and paid for)
  • Work with CRM and Loyalty team to utilise data effectively to reach core customer.
  • Collaborate with visual merchandising, creative, display and store management teams to deliver best in class experiences for our customers.
  • Assess the activity of competitor brands and best practice international examples.
  • Continuously innovate to create newness and talkability around campaigns and events.
  • Analysis and review of activity to ensure dashboard KPI’s, campaign effectiveness, relevance and innovation.
