Responsibilities:

THIS IS A FIXED TERM, FULLY REMOTE, FULL TIME ROLE UNTIL THE END OF MARCH 2026. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO BE BASED IN WALES.

Befriending coordinators will work on a rota basis between the hours of 7:30am and 8:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The Befriending Coordinator role will be integral for the delivery of the NSPCC Building Connections Service. The post-holder will

  • Have line-management responsibility for a cohort of geographically dispersed volunteer,supporting their growth, development and retention
  • Support the operational delivery of the Building Connections Service through recruitment and training activities
  • Contribute directly to holding sessions with young people
