As the primary community health care provider, Humboldt Park Health provides a range of services including in-patient acute care, emergency care, diagnostic services, primary care in a 200-bed hospital, as well as a full-service professional building, community clinics, and two mobile health units. They promote wellness through health education, prevention, and early intervention.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience in Benefits Administration
- Expert knowledge of U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and COBRA
- Strong understanding of employee benefits and insurance
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Workers Compensation
- Previous experience administering 403b
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required
- Experience working in a healthcare setting or nonprofit organization is a plus
Responsibilities:
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with administering employee benefits, including but not limited to: U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), COBRA, 403b, Workers Compensation and insurance. This is a full-time on-site role located in Chicago, IL.
