Job Summary:
The Benefits Analyst role support the benefits management team with a primary focus on Retirement Plans and Well-Being programs. The Benefits Analyst will assist both functions in meeting employee needs, helping assure compliance across both areas and collaborating with reporting and analysis for our North America plans.
The Analyst will complete surveys in support of benchmarking our plan designs for North America. The position will also support the planning and process improvement initiatives for our North America defined contribution plans and well-being offerings.
The analyst will also provide backup support to the H&W Benefits Analyst with processing of new hire/life event changes and responding to HR/Employee questions.
Job Description:
Key Job Elements:
- Assists with 401(k) plan administration, including reporting, responding to employee questions, compiling annual discrimination data and coordinating distribution of annual required reports
- Supports and participates in regular audits to ensure participant and employer contributions are accurate
- Regularly reviews DC recordkeeper reports to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conducts benchmarking studies and other research to keep department and HR function informed of trends and supports analysis from a Total Rewards perspective
- Performs various levels of analysis and supports the data analytics team in interpreting data trends
- Develop processes and procedures to measure the effectiveness of Support the Retirement Plans Manager with processing of 401(k) contributions and funding
- Assist with facilitating corrections as needed for 401(k) with third-party recordkeeper and/or payroll
- Coordinate gathering of 401(k) annual audit information and responding to auditor questions.
- Assists in solving employee and benefit plan related issues
- Collaborates with Well-being manager to develop criteria and reporting to measure effectiveness and ROI for wellbeing initiatives and programs
- Assists with facilitation of new hire orientation
Successful incumbents will have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CEBS designation a plus
- Three or more years of experience working in Employee Benefits planning and/or administration
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and integrative skills
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time
- Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues
- Strong client service orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work individually and collaborate as part of a team
