Overview:
As the Benefits Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Analysts, Account Executives and Consulting Team in managing client accounts. Our approach is warm and our relationships are everything with these client groups.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Prepare renewals and experience reports using renewal and reporting tools
- Prepare benefits marketing material and compile data and results from insurer proposals
- Coordinate with Gallagher Centre of Excellence (GCoE) in support of project deliverables
- Collaborate with service providers for the collection, analysis and interpretation of life, disability and health care data
- Collaborate with internal team to develop awareness and recommendations of life, disability and health care plan design, cost factors and help prepare team members for the renewal process
- Analyze claims and utilization data and look for trends and patterns
- Prepare ad-hoc deliverables
- Liaise with service providers to ensure adherence to project deliverables
- Other accountabilities to support the high functioning team you will be part of, as the need arises
About you:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in math, statistics, economics, business, finance or liberal arts or commensurate experience is beneficial but not required
- Experience in a group benefits environment is an asset
- CEBS designation considered an asset
- Consider yourself an authority in the Microsoft Suite and can handle your Outlook inbox with ease
- The ability to be detailed, analyze data and perform basic mathematical tasks
- Prioritizing and handling multiple tasks within deadlines
- A Strong command of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Working on a team and independently with minimal direct supervision makes you happy, as does developing relationships with service vendors and colleagues
