Description:

Overview:
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Benefits Analyst to join the corporate team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters. This is an in-office role in our Raleigh office – 421 Fayetteville Street, Suite 600 Raleigh, North Carolina 27601.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in administration of all firm health & welfare and retirement benefits including communication, enrollment assistance, plan reconciliation, billing, and audits
  • Support employees with benefit inquiries including general benefits education, troubleshooting issues, and solving complex claims issues
  • Participate in benefits activities such as new hire benefits orientation, processing mid-year benefit changes, and open enrollment
  • Complete payroll preparation tasks such as importing certain benefits changes and completing semi-monthly audits to assure benefit deductions are accurate
  • Primary contact for HR partners on a wide range of benefits topics
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure proper administration of benefit plans and promptly resolve employee benefit issues
  • Assist with special benefit projects and employee presentations throughout the year
  • Managing / updating employee information in HRIS system (UKG Pro)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1+ years of related work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
  • High degree of professionalism with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations/information and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
  • Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel; ability and willingness to learn new software applications. Experience with UKG Pro preferred
