Job Description
The Benefits Manager will oversee Employee Health, Retirement, Risk, and Leave benefit programs across 10+ countries, ensuring compliance with local laws and alignment with business strategy. Key responsibilities include managing new market setups, vendor onboarding, analysing benefit data, driving process improvements, supporting M&A activities, and contributing to EMEA budget planning. The role also involves collaborating with local teams and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless benefit delivery and managing executive stakeholder communication and Tier 3 escalations.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

  • Oversee the delivery of Employee Health, Retirement, Risk, and Leave benefit programs across 10+ countries, ensuring compliance with local laws and alignment with business strategy.
  • Manage end-to-end execution for new market setups, including benefit design, vendor onboarding, service delivery, and employee communication.
  • Analyse benefit utilization, costs, and projections for each country, providing insights to shape global policies and drive process excellence through GP care partnerships.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency gains, leveraging AI and benefit technology tools.
  • Support M&A activities, including due diligence, plan harmonization, and employee communications.
  • Collaborate with brokers for benefit implementations, renewals, and contribute to the EMEA budget planning process.
  • Manage employee leave programs, ensuring compliance, accurate administration, and employee satisfaction.
  • Work with local People Partner teams and Country General Managers to ensure benefits meet statutory requirements and are market competitive.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Compensation, FP&A, Legal) to ensure compliant and seamless benefit delivery.
  • Handle executive stakeholder management, communicating the Global Benefits strategy effectively and managing Tier 3 escalations
    Qualifications

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU HAVE:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing of Employee Health, Retirement, Risk and Leave Benefit programs.
  • Solid knowledge of employee benefits policies, trends, laws, and systems.
  • Highly experienced in EMEA benefits management/administration.
  • Customer-focused with a collaborative approach. Able to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Understanding of benefits accounting/finance and HR practices, with an ability to navigate global environments.
  • Experience in supporting strategic goals and projects, with a focus on execution and problem-solving.
  • Ability to assist in process improvements, with some exposure to project management and change management.
  • Strong analytical skills for using market data to support decision-making and program updates.
  • Experience working with brokers and vendors, including contract support and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with Works Councils necessary.
