Description:
The Bereavement Midwife will contribute to the implementation of the National Saving Babies Lives (SBL) Care Bundle and will review and agree actions for SBL version 2 to be published in 2019, submitting data as requested to the Yorkshire & Humber Clinical Network. The Bereavement Midwife will ensure that the safety and care of women is their primary concern and will ensure that nursing, midwifery and corporate standards are implemented, maintained, monitored and improved upon where necessary. The bereavement midwife would be instrumental in providing early access for bereaved parents in subsequent pregnancies.
