DESCRIPTION
The apprenticeship programme is a paid, structured programme of learning, typically lasting around 2 years for people aged 16 and over. Apprentices spend the majority of their time in the workplace and an average of at least six hours per week in off-the-job training with a college or training provider.
The closing date is 28th March 2025.
We currently offer group apprenticeships in:
- Site Management (Construction) - Level 3 or 4
- Technical (Design) - Level 4
Commercial (Quantity Surveying) - Level 4Business - Finance /Procurement /Customer Service - Level 3 or 4

From day one you will gain real hands on experience on cutting edge projects while being supported and nurtured by your team.
You start your career with an induction designed to give you the chance to learn more about our business and meet other apprentices. Later on you also get the opportunity to be involved in departmental awareness sessions to help bring all stages of the development cycle to life.
Successful candidates will begin their apprenticeship with Berkeley Group on 8th September 2025 and assessment centres will begin at the end of March. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Apprentices at Berkeley need to show a willingness to learn on the job and enthusiasm to gain a new qualification. You should be comfortable communicating with new people and dealing with different personalities. We work in a fast paced environment so you will need to be able to adapt to change and manage your time well to meet deadlines. You will be well supported and part of a team. - Logging data into excel or word
- Assessing changes to scopes of work
- Meeting with contractors to discuss variations
- Processing payment
Tasks could include:
- Checking and replying to emails and queries
