Bestuur en koördinering van die OVK vloot (200+ voertuie) vir optimale besigheidsprestasie, om te verseker dat dit bydra tot winsgewend en die bereiking van ander maatskappydoelwitte.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 (Relevant post-school qualification in logistics management will be to your advantage);
• 2 – 5 years of experience in fleet management;
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Valid driver’s license.

SKILLS:

• Detail oriented;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Good written and verbal communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Good leadership skills;
• Assertive;
• Must be able to function under pressure;
• Planning and organisational skills.

CORE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Manage and coordinate the OVK fleet (200+ vehicles) for optimal business performance, to ensure that it contributes to profitability and the achievement of other company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of the monitoring department;
• Development and implementation of effective fleet management systems;
• Effective utilisation of the OVK fleet;
• Development, implementation and monitoring of cost-effective route planning and schedules;
• Monitoring of fleet vehicle drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices;
• Reduce unnecessary expenses and increase fuel efficiency;
• Vehicle performance monitoring, record keeping and improvement;
• Analysis and reporting of fleet performance data;
• Effective coordination of the OVK online store’s logistics;
• Member of the management commitee.
