ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Bethsalem Care is seeking a dedicated team member for a Full-time role in their Memory
Support Unit. The position is salaried in line with the appropriate Aged Care Award structure for a Diversional Therapist, according to levels of experience and hours worked. The salary band for a full-time day shift employee is - $60,764 to $61,948

Reporting to the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will:

• Plan, implement and evaluate group and individual activity programs that promote the psychological, social and spiritual well-being of the residents, taking into account their assessed needs
• Assist with the design of plans and programs to take into account residents with specific needs, e.g. residents living with Dementia
• Assist in providing residents with the opportunity to learn new skills
• Assist in involving residents in programs to achieve required outcomes
