ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate Beverage Supervisor to join our world-class culinary team. You will be a key driver for creating extraordinary guest experiences in the delivery of Beverage services across the variety of events held at our venues. No two days are the same for our Food & Beverage team, you may be servicing a bespoke VIP event for 20 guests one day and working to deliver a Gala dinner for 2,000 people the next.

As a Beverage Supervisor, you will play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of culinary event services for our clients. This role requires strong leadership capability as you work with a large and diverse team of food and beverage team members. You will:

  • Supervise, inspire, and lead a world–class multi-cultural culinary service bar and cellar team in efficient day-to-day event operations.
  • Plan, execute and deliver beverages and bars for banquets, special events, concerts, and retail operations.
  • Develop and monitor bar and cellar management procedures.
  • Monitor, record and control pilferage, wastage, spoilage, and breakage to assist in the reduction of operational costs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • You must have a current NSW RSA Competency Card & working rights in Australia.
  • Experience in a team leader or supervisory role, preferable in a large scale, fast paced venue.
  • Flexibility to work a varied and structured roster including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, beer, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of cellar operations.
  • Passion for turning the ordinary into extraordinary.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • You must be 18 years or over.
