Fruitways is an agri-business, specialising in growing, packing and marketing of fresh apples and pears to retailers, traders and wholesalers around the globe.

• Conceptualisation, definition, and delivery of new reports
• Continuous improvement of existing reports
• Continual search for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyse data that is relevant to the company’s business model
• Education of report end-users to ensure a maximum spread of expertise around the company
• Support report end-users
• Liaison with the business and IT to:
• accommodate the customer’s business needs,
• resolve conflicting user demands,
• maintain positive customer relations through strong communication and coordination.
• Identify information requirements through interviews, workshops, business processes and workflow description analysis for identified projects.
• Model user and information requirements by making use of applicable tools and given scope.
• Transform data into business intelligence that support business stakeholders in making informed decisions. Must be able to:
• Extract, transform and load (ETL) data from different data sources such as Datawarehouse, SSAS, production databases, excel files, text files and web data sources into applicable destinations.
• Develop and build Tabular data models in PowerBI and SSAS making use of the applicable development environments
• Apply correct mathematical and/or statistical operations in measures given business requirements
• Make use of Excel, PowerPivot or PowerBI to present information contained in Data Mode
