ESSENCE OF ROLE – KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Drive delivery of Business Intelligence reporting and produces high quality and insightful management information to provide data driven insights enabling business action;
• Lead investigation and resolution of complex data queries across high value data-sets;
• Provide analysis and deliver relevant data and information to assist strategic planning and reviews;
• Understand centralising and servicing reporting needs of the business, across report design, development, publishing and maintenance;
• Support directing the approval and enforcement of data standards/policies and processes, including deployment approval checklists, data quality goals, maintenance processes and exceptions requests;
• On-going coaching on complex reporting and visualisation topics to our offshore BI development team;
• Utilise metadata on our reporting platform to provide insights on efficiency of platform, report consumption and any other pertinent details;
• Build strong relations and work closely with Finance, BI and Technology stakeholders to understand insights needs and produce impactful reporting / visualisation outcomes;
• Proactively secure external insights & identify new trends & new business opportunities that could contribute to unlocking the power of data;
• Provide informal guidance to junior staff.
