    Amazon’s Global Transportation Services team is looking for an enthusiastic and customer obsessed BI & Analytics Manager to help us drive changes and support in optimizing our transportation network.
    The role will involve understanding the physical and virtual transportation processes, from our fulfillment centers on to our final mile carriers who deliver our packages to our customers. As part of the Transportation Configuration Team you will combine business process knowledge, data expertise, and software development skills to identify and drive product developments within our transportation network.
    To be successful in the role, you need strong team management, communication and analytical skills, alongside with the ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations and drive planning activities for tech teams. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment that requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable in working with multiple business and technical teams.

Key job responsibilities

  • Working with a team of BIEs and Data Engineers to deliver analytical solutions, automation workflows and product features to streamline end-to-end configuration execution process.
  • Working with product managers, external engineering teams and other stakeholders to identify and unblock project dependencies.
  • Working with key stakeholders to drive engineering team’s strategical and tactical deliverable roadmap through annual operational planning process.
  • Working with product management and engineering team to drive agile software development practices.
  • Supporting engineering team’s growth and technical development.
  • Building KPIs and mechanisms to measure and improve engineering deliverables.

About the team

SCALE is a team with Transportation Network Configuration, delivering innovative solutions to ensure long-term scalability of the EU network configuration. The team is composed of a mix of PMs, BIEs and software developers who work together and cross-team to automate, simplify, standardize and audit configuration of transportation and sortation data.

  • Experience working with very large data warehousing environment
  • Experience in data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding
