Description:
EXPERIENCE:
- Deep experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience mentoring BI teams.
- Deep understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience in the insurance industry, ideally with a strong knowledge of the London market.
- Agile and Scrum: Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum methodologies, especially in a data contextAdvanced Analytics and Data Science: Exposure to machine learning models, predictive analytics, and other advanced data analysis techniques

Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of Ascot’s business intelligence strategy, aligning initiatives with organisational goals.
- Design, implement, and oversee complex solutions, including advanced data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to BI Developers and Analysts, fostering professional growth and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities, developing data-driven strategies to address them.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data across all BI platforms and solutions.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in BI methodologies.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and broader technologies, ensuring Ascot leverages the most effective tools and techniques.Working with the change team, help manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring they meet the company’s requirements.
