SUMMARY
The Business Data and Engagement Analyst role, involves tackling complex and ambiguous business situations to identify problems and opportunities from a comprehensive perspective. This position requires collaboration with operational stakeholders to choose appropriate analysis techniques and manage the scope, requirements, and prioritisation of medium-sized initiatives. A key part of the role is facilitating stakeholder input, providing constructive challenges, and ensuring effective prioritization of requirements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences when engaging with colleagues, users/customers, suppliers and partners
- Have demonstrable experience of leading successful business analysis activities
- A proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Building and managing project plans capable of delivering the required results in a timely manner; Regular engagement with senior leaders to ensure effective prioritisation against strategic objectives.
- Experience of Team Leadership
- Experience of using Tableau or similar toolset
- Proficient IT skills across the Microsoft suite. Creating, updating and consolidating PowerPoint and Word Documents
- Good understanding of modelling data using the standard methodology and experience
Responsibilities:
- Investigate business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity, adopting a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities
- Contribute to the selection of the approach and techniques to be used for business situation analysis, engaging and collaborating with operational stakeholders
- Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity
- Facilitates input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge and enables effective prioritisation of requirements
