BI Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Solutions Support Specialist to join our team as a consultant of IQVIA for the Belgium market. The ideal candidate will provide support for BI architecture and logic, develop, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures, and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
As a member of our near shore team based in Lisbon, you will need to demonstrate autonomy, proactivity, efficiency, and a well-founded interest in the Pharmaceutical/Commercial sector.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Translate end-user questions or problems into technical solutions.
• Provide operational support for BI architecture and logic.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with our Support Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Be responsible for and follow up on our scheduled client deliveries.
• Work as a consultant of IQVIA on the Belgium market
• Be part of our near shore team based in Lisbon.

Education, Experience, Soft skills & Specialized Knowledge Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Background as
• Experience with BI architecture and logic
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS
• Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures
• Language skills in English and ideally French
• Excellent communication skills
• Autonomous, proactive, and efficient
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Stress-resilient with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Customer-oriented personality with a positive drive and a pragmatic, innovative approach.
• Well-founded interest in the Pharmaceutical/Commercial sector

Any of the following elements are considered as a big plus:

• Knowledge of Qlik Sense, PowerBI, Microstrategy, Snowflake or Denodo and other BI/DWH Tools
• Working in Agile mode
• General project management skills
