Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

  • Ensure quality and accuracy of the Commercial Bid submission.
  • Coordinate the overall commercial delivery and manage the commercial bid process to ensure submission timelines are achieved and targets accomplished in line with corporate strategy.
  • Functional responsibility for the financial activities across the Bid team.
  • Provide commercial, accounting and financial advice and assistance to internal governance.
  • Initiate and lead commercial reviews aimed at lowering cost structures and improving commercial performance.
  • Provide strategic and tactical advice on the likely implications of commercial initiatives and externalities.
  • Financial modelling and analysis for major bids.
  • Arrange/attend site visits at client premises to establish an understanding of the requirements, analysis of conditions, assessment of risk and identification of activities that may or may not be shown in the tender documents.
