We are looking for a Tender Engineer to join our team based in Aartselaar. As a Tender Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing RFQs of varying complexity and optimizing project setup. Your expertise will be essential in leading multiple tender teams, both within Schneider Electric and in consortium settings. • Lead and manage end-to-end opportunity, overseeing the overall bid submission process (both technical and commercial aspects).
• Develop and execute win strategies and value propositions for assigned opportunities.
• Prepare technical and commercial content, clarifications, and deviations.
• Collaborate with supply chain to coordinate requests to third-party suppliers and ensure timely follow-up.
• Manage proposal schedule and allocate responsibilities to the bid team, adhering to Tender governance procedures to keep the bid team on track throughout the process.
• Oversee the Risk Management Process and provide support for the Commercial Review Process (Contracts & Approvals) to prepare and submit tenders, including engaging with contracts and legal teams.
• Facilitate technical reviews in alignment with customer expectations of solution offering.
• Support the sales team and ensure alignment of the offer price with the solution’s value proposition.
• Ensure adherence to approval procedures in accordance with the valid Delegation of Authority.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders to customer office/portals.
• Provide support for customer meetings as needed.
