We are looking for a Tender Engineer to join our team based in Aartselaar. As a Tender Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing RFQs of varying complexity and optimizing project setup. Your expertise will be essential in leading multiple tender teams, both within Schneider Electric and in consortium settings. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end opportunity, overseeing the overall bid submission process (both technical and commercial aspects).
  • Develop and execute win strategies and value propositions for assigned opportunities.
  • Prepare technical and commercial content, clarifications, and deviations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain to coordinate requests to third-party suppliers and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Manage proposal schedule and allocate responsibilities to the bid team, adhering to Tender governance procedures to keep the bid team on track throughout the process.
  • Oversee the Risk Management Process and provide support for the Commercial Review Process (Contracts & Approvals) to prepare and submit tenders, including engaging with contracts and legal teams.
  • Facilitate technical reviews in alignment with customer expectations of solution offering.
  • Support the sales team and ensure alignment of the offer price with the solution’s value proposition.
  • Ensure adherence to approval procedures in accordance with the valid Delegation of Authority.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders to customer office/portals.
  • Provide support for customer meetings as needed.
