BID MANAGER – DATA CENTRE PROJECTS
Location: Dublin HQ (Office-based, 5 days per week)
Join a Leading Data Centre Specialist Our client is a forward-thinking design and construction company at the forefront of data centre development across the Nordic region. With a reputation for innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, they deliver world-class solutions for global clients. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Bid Manager with a strong track record in managing complex construction bids, ideally within data centre projects.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
As Bid Manager, you will take full ownership of the bid process, from initial strategy to final submission. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to develop compelling, high-quality proposals that align with both client needs and business objectives. Leading a team of Bid Writers and Document Controllers, you will ensure seamless coordination and delivery of winning bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Bid Leadership: Oversee and manage end-to-end bid development, ensuring proposals are structured, persuasive, and delivered on time.
- Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their objectives and tailor bid responses accordingly.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Bid Writers and Document Controllers, ensuring collaboration and efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Develop winning bid strategies by analysing client requirements, market trends, and competitor insights.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all bid submissions adhere to industry regulations, company standards, and best practices.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: Extensive experience in bid management within construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors. Candidates with data centre project experience will have an advantage.
- Communication & Leadership: Exceptional writing, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to lead teams and engage clients effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop precise, client-focused proposals.
- Education: A degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Eligibility: Candidates must have full Irish working authorisation and be available to work on-site in Dublin HQ, five days per week.
