We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Irish business-related law and with particular focus on the Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Charities sectors.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Bid Manager to join our Bid Team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience as a Bid Executive or Bid Manager in a legal or professional services environment.
  • An understanding of the entire bids process is critical.
  • An understanding of the Irish legal market is desirable.
  • Excellent writing abilities with strong attention to detail, editing and proof-reading skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver all projects on time.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience in Visio desirable.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As Bid Manager, you will report to the Director of Bids and work with the Bid Team and partners to support the creation of all tenders and proposals. You will assist in leading the bid process from opportunity identification through to tender submission. You will ensure that high-quality tenders and proposals are crafted in line with client requirements and are delivered on time.

EVERYDAY / AD-HOC TASKS / PROJECTS

  • Have flexible approach to work and an understanding that out of hours work may be required from time to time.
  • Ensure that all bid records are kept updated.
  • Mentoring / training junior bid personnel.
  • Work with / lead the team on various ongoing projects.
  • Deputise when the Director of Bids is unavailable.
