The Bid Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality, compelling bid submissions that effectively articulate our strengths and capabilities for a variety of public sector tendering opportunities.
In this critical role, the individual will be expected to demonstrate a deep and nuanced understanding of public sector procurement rules, regulations, and guidance that govern the bidding process. This knowledge is essential for navigating the complexities and compliance requirements unique to public sector tenders.
Additionally, the Bid Writer should possess a proven track record of success in tendering, showcasing their ability to craft submissions that not only meet but exceed the expectations of procurement officials. This experience will enable the Bid Writer to strategically position our proposals, increasing our chances of securing valuable contracts within the public sector.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities for the role include:

- Bid Writing: Develop and write detailed, persuasive, and compliant bid responses for public sector tenders across various domains including digital forensics, consultancy, cyber security, training, and accreditation support.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research to understand client requirements, procurement rules, and competitive landscape. Gather and analyse information from internal and external sources to support bid development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy and relevance of bid content.
- Compliance: Ensure all bid submissions comply with public sector procurement rules and guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Review and edit bid documents to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency. Ensure all submissions are of the highest quality and meet client specifications.
- Project Management: Manage the bid process from start to finish, including coordinating input from various team members, adhering to deadlines, and ensuring timely submission of bids.
- Continuous Improvement: Use feedback from clients and internal reviews to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of bid submissions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:



    • Proven experience in bid writing, particularly for public sector tenders.

    • In-depth understanding of public sector procurement rules and guidance.
    • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, error-free documents.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
