Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Bilingual Claims Representative I - Claims Management Services (CMS) to join our growing team!

What you’ll do here:

  • Open new claims on the phone with clients and ensure immediate handling of the situation.
  • Gather versions of events from the insured and/or witnesses by interviewing them about the events.
  • Determine if the claim is covered or not by analyzing the coverage required to cover the claim.
  • Analyze the information obtained, make decisions that will be used to establish liability and review the assessment of damages.
  • Settle the claim in a fair and reasonable manner, validate damages and complete payments.

What you bring to the table:

  • Adjuster licence and passed exams.
  • Experience that is relevant to the position.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a requirement
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
