ABOUT

We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join the North American Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing communications strategies and executing plans to ensure that strategic initiatives are rolled out effectively and in a way that supports the company’s transformation plans.
The ideal candidate is strong writer and an expert in communications, with excellent judgment and a commitment to a results-oriented, people-oriented organization. You have a knack for getting things done quickly and motivating others. You should demonstrate ingenuity, strategic thinking, creativity and a strong ability to foster engagement. You must be able to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic and innovative communications tactics, messages and campaigns that bring awareness to the company and further establish key employees as thought leaders
  • Participate in the drafting, translation and development of a variety of content including press releases, blogs, articles, emails, presentations and speeches and participate in meetings with leadership
  • Manage, create content, and measure success for company’s LinkedIn pages
  • Research and understand key business challenges, customer behavior, target audiences, and competitive activity that impacts the company
  • Build and maintain solid partnerships with assigned internal clients across the United States and Canada to better develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals
  • Assess the effectiveness of communication plans and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop an understanding of short- and long-term department goals and planned initiatives
  • Works with leadership to take the pulse of overall business activity to identify cross-marketing opportunities
  • Collaborate on a variety of special projects, as required
  • Stay up to date with the latest communications trends and propose new tools
