Position Summary: We are so pleased to announce that we are currently seeking to onboard a Bilingual (English/French) Credit Analyst. Experience underwriting on the Inovatec platform is preferred. Under the direction of the Credit Manager, the Credit Analyst is responsible for managing the underwriting queues in a manner that maintains our SLA while providing a positive customer centric experience for our dealers and brokers. The incumbent performs all duties according to the established Credit Policies & Procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Actively manage the underwriting queues to maintain SLA
Main Activities:
- Decision credit applications and set conditions within established lending policies using sound judgement.
- Maintain and promote a professional, responsive and positive working relationship with both internal and external partners.
- Analyse and evaluate documentation supplied from the brokers/dealers as they relate to credit stipulations placed on adjudicated files.
- Prioritize and multi-task effectively within a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Participate in projects as required to assist in the building and development of the business.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
- Contribute to the promotion and maintenance of positive customer relations by offering strategies to our dealer partners while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Main Activities:
- Display appropriate telephone and email etiquette when communicating with customers (both internally and externally)
- Facilitate the resolution of minor escalated calls with an approach of first call resolution technique.
- Recommend outside of the box solutions on files where it makes sense to do so
- Contribute to the success of the business and Credit department through personal efforts to enhance own knowledge and skills. Assist others in achieving common goals and objectives and maintaining a respectful, positive work environment.
Main Activities:
- Adhere to work day schedule.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops and individual coaching sessions.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Actively participate in performance management process in support of own personal and professional departmental objectives.
- Respect and adhere to all policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct, Harassment & Discrimination, Internet & Email and Privacy Policy.
- Maintain knowledge of and complete annual training of any compliance requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Post-Secondary Education (University Degree or College Diploma).
- 2+ years working in the retail or indirect financial industry
- 2+ years experience adjudicating credit. Experience in sub-prime credit is an asset
- Positive attitude, honestly and strong work ethics are a must
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to be analytical and detail oriented
- Familiarity with recreational vehicles available on the market
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Is able to effortlessly communicate in both French and English, both in written and spoken forms.
- Solid understanding of the principles and practical application of the Credit Policies & Procedures manual.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and company software systems.
- Extremely detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize work in response to requests and inquiries.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions / problem solve based on sound judgement.
- Demonstrated communication skills with ability to interact with peers, management, and other departments in a professional manner.
