  • Salary range for Bilingual Dispatcher between $55,000- $60,000 CAD based on skills and experience

At our facility in Scarborough you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Recovery + division of our team as the Bilingual Dispatcher :

  • Dispatch work in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, utilizing available drivers and equipment.
  • Modify routes as required while maintaining efficiency and customer centricity.
  • Co-ordinate trailer shunting with plants to ensure seamless productivty.
  • Inform plant(s) of any changes to inbound and outbound loads that may impact the workflow.
  • Respond to emails and phone calls promptly and professionally at all times.
  • Monitor route performance and production in real-time for all assigned drivers.
  • Utilize various systems, such as Geotab and Power BI, to consistently achieve service level and efficiency targets through a continunous improvement approach.
  • Liase with Account Management and Customer Service to effectively communicate any service interruptions or site-level issues reported by drivers.
  • Review previous day’s route performance to determine areas of improvement and/or successes.
  • Inform Transportation Supervisor of driver and/or equipment problems (including trucks, trailers, and containers, off site equipment).
