ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone with strong data engineering, analysis and technical leadership backgrounds for our teams.
Our data science lab is one of the largest in the country, and data engineering is one of its main pillars. We have big ambitions and want you to be part of them. Will you join us? Here’s a sneak peak.
On a day-to-day basis, we primarily use cloud Databricks, Amazon Web Services, and Snowflake. Python is our favorite language! We are responsible for ingesting data from many difference sources, but also for the sometimes complex transformation of this data, to provide our scientists with quality data that is ready for machine learning.
In this mission, you will be supported by quality analysts, business analysts, application architects, and data architects. We use Agile as our organizational methodology, with the support of our product owners and our scrum masters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • With your team, you will participate in the analysis design, development, and delivery of efficient, effective, and secure data pipelines.
  • Building on your experience, you will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of industry best practices.
  • Through your leadership, you will be an agent of change who will grow our data engineering practice to make our lab an industry benchmark.

Working here means you’ll be empowered to be and do your best every day. Here is some of what you can expect as a permanent member of our team:

  • A financial rewards program that recognizes your success
  • An industry leading Employee Share Purchase Plan; we match 50% of net shares purchased
  • An extensive flex pension and benefits package, with access to virtual healthcare
  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Possibility to purchase up to 5 extra days off per year
  • An annual wellness account that promotes an active and healthy lifestyle
  • Access to tools and resources to support physical and mental health, embracing change and connecting with colleagues
  • A dynamic workplace learning ecosystem complete with learning journeys, interactive online content, and inspiring programs
  • Inclusive employee-led networks to educate, inspire, amplify voices, build relationships and provide development opportunities
  • Inspiring leaders and colleagues who will lift you up and help you grow
  • A Community Impact program, because what you care about is a part of what makes you different. And how you contribute to your community should be just as uniqu
