REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bilingual In English and Spanish written and verbal
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required, with a substantial portion of it in a manufacturing operation a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Organizational Development or similar program preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up human resources procedures that are in line with company objectives.
  • Assist with administration of benefits program
  • Complete and distribute Unemployment Claims.
  • Coordinate, organize and manage company social committees (Safety Committee, Wellness Committee, etc.).
  • Provide support and guidance to management, and other associates when complex, specialized, and/or sensitive questions or issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routing tasks in delicate circumstances such as: providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and adhere to best practices; review new and existing policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance.
  • Retain human resources records by designing a filing and retrieval system for keeping past and current records.
  • Manage HRIS System and Performance Dashboard.
