JOB SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales / IFC - Account Developer will process customer orders for C-level customer tier, which includes orders of no more than 5,000 litres per month. This role will handle new sales opportunities in this tier from either inbound calls or leads transferred by the IFC - Lead Generators or Fuel Consultants. The IFC-AD is responsible for providing price quotes, collection and submittal of documents for new account setup and to ensure onboarding of C-level customers is successful. The Account Developer is responsible for developing strong customer relationships with their assigned C level portfolio via phone, email, and web contact, to ensure we are pursuing all their business opportunities.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

  • Must be bilingual in French and English, both verbal and written
  • Excellent verbal (via telephone) and written (via email) communication skills
  • Strategic sales capabilities which support selling to the C-Level of small businesses, balanced with tactical skills for a fast-paced, high volume lead follow-up environment
  • Ability to build strong rapport, establish trust and credibility through a consultative approach, and balance assertive sales follow-up without being overly aggressive
  • A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
  • A technical aptitude
  • Basic research skills required.
  • Effective communication skills to provide beneficial recommendations to solve client related issues related to invoicing, pricing and service.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key external stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs.
  • Prior experience with a CRM program is an asset

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Secondary School Diploma required.
  • One to two years’ experience in value-add, solution-based selling or related direct sales background with proven history of quota over achievement
  • Experience selling value add business solutions via telephone
