Position Title: Bilingual New Business Coordinator
Reports To: Manager, Individual New Business
Department: Individual New Business Coordination
Term: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (must be available to work 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on a rotational basis, approximately one week every 3 months)
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
The Opportunity: Equitable is growing! We are looking for a New Business Coordinator to join our team! We’re looking for an individual who has a keen eye towards attention to detail and a knack for providing outstanding service to internal clients. The successful Coordinator will be responsible to support and administer the accurate processing of all Individual New Business applications and inquiries. Responsibilities:
- Process new life insurance applications by entering information into various systems with absolute attention to accuracy and detail. This includes verifying key pieces of information are included, accurate and complete.
- Communicate with and support Advisors, MGA’s and DIS’s as required to follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to MGA’s, AGA’s, external Vendors and Regional Staff.
- Special handling of requests and modifications as required.
- Applications must be processed within set service standards, which requires an ability to manage fluctuating volumes and change in direction
- Problem solving with day to day work assignments.
- Provide daily updates to Manager relating to volumes processed, process times, and other required metrics as required.
