Description:
REQUIREMENTS OF OUR PARALEGAL
- Minimum 3 years of high-volume immigration law experience
- Proven expertise with I-589, I-42B, bond applications and family-based petitions
- Experience preparing clients and documentation for Individual Calendar Hearings
- Strong understanding of asylum procedure and requirements
- Demonstrated success with complex removal cases
- Fluent Spanish-English bilingual skills required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience managing legal assistants
- Excellence in client communication
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with legal case management software
- Ability to work in our Phoenix and Glendale offices
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a must

Responsibilities:
- Manage substantial caseload of family-based immigration and removal defense cases
- Prepare and file applications including Forms I-589, I-42B, and bond requests
- Support attorneys in removal proceedings and USCIS matters
- Draft detailed declarations for asylum cases
- Gather and organize evidence for immigration court proceedings
- Assist in preparing clients for court appearances
- Track and meet critical filing deadlines
- Respond to USCIS Requests for Evidence
- Mentor and support Legal Assistants
- Maintain detailed case documentation using Filevine
- Provide exceptional client service and clear case explanations
- Coordinate with government agencies including EOIR, ICE, and USCIS
