JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic Development Team at CoreBridge Solutions. This role is perfect for those who excel in ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications, possessing a robust background in quality assurance and a passion for meticulous testing. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will help drive the quality standards of our products and ensure they meet both customer needs and business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and testing web applications.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins.
• Experience in performance testing and security testing.
• Knowledge of coding languages such as Java or Python.

• Plan, design, and execute testing phases for web projects, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project scope and timelines.
• Write and automate test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Conduct end-to-end functional testing to ensure software stability and compliance with business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues identified during testing.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and any obstacles to project stakeholders to ensure timelines are met.
• Participate in the creation and review of user stories and requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and methodologies.
