Description:
Commissionaires BC is currently recruiting for a security guard to work the RCMP training site in Chilliwack.
The position would see you working Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm.
Pay rate $22.75/hr
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid BC Security License
- Must be bilingual (French & English)
- Have lived in Canada for minimum 5 years for clearance purposes and be a Canadian Citizen or have a valid PR
- OFA 1 or willing to obtain
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Willing to go through RCMP clearance process (may take up to 5 months)
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Reception duties, answering phone calls and questions
- Patrols – interior and exterior
- Maintaining official visitor logs, count sheets, sign-in/out sheets
- Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations
- Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards
