Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Bilingual Senior Manager, Product Management.
The Bilingual Senior Manager, Product Management supports the achievement of profit and growth targets across Canada and for all personal insurance lines of business. This role is responsible for working across the organization to develop integrated strategies and making decisions related to product, pricing and risk management to achieve overall growth and profit goals.
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Bilingual Senior Manager, Product Management:
- Contributes to annual and long-term personal line(s) profit and loss goals for assigned province(s)
- Supports the design and development of product, pricing and risk management strategic initiatives aligning with enterprise standards when possible
- Leads complex analyses of the marketplace, business trends, and competitive position to formulate strategies to achieve business objectives
- Participates in the professional development for product management team
- Ensures product/pricing/risk management changes are delivered to AORs for implementation and engagement
- Works with peers across the enterprise and within internal product, pricing, and underwriting departments
- Provides thought leadership to address diverse and complex situations and drive favorable business outcomes. Integrates with key stakeholders (e.g. Distribution, Service, Strategy, Data & Analytics, Pricing, Underwriting, Marketing, Finance, and Claims)
- Supports, develops, and presents business storylines & business cases as needed to influence others to take recommended actions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 8 years progressive insurance business including product operations and people leadership
- Proficiency in the French language is mandatory for this position
- Requires a minimum of a university degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to identify & implement new ideas, techniques, and tactics to drive improvement in outcomes
- Strong communication and time management skills along with the ability to effectively influence others is essential
- Experience collaborating across organizations to achieve goals
- Strategic thinking and solutions-oriented approach
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations is an asset

Le ou la titulaire du poste contribue à l’atteinte des objectifs de profit et de croissance au Canada, pour tous les types d’assurance des particuliers. Dans la poursuite de ces objectifs, la personne collaborera avec des partenaires dans l’ensemble de l’organisation afin de développer des stratégies intégrées et prendra des décisions concernant les produits, la tarification et la gestion des risques.
Relevant du directeur principal ou de la directrice principale, gestion des produits, le ou la gestionnaire principal e :
- Contribuera à l’atteinte des objectifs annuels et à long terme relatifs aux profits et pertes en assurance des particuliers dans la ou les provinces qui lui seront assignées.
- Soutiendra la conception et la réalisation de projets stratégiques concernant les produits, la tarification et la gestion des risques, et s’harmonisant avec les normes de la société mère dans la mesure du possible.
- Mènera des analyses complexes du marché, des tendances commerciales et de la position concurrentielle de l’entreprise afin de formuler des stratégies visant l’atteinte d’objectifs d’affaires.
- S’impliquera dans le plan de développement professionnel des membres de l’équipe de gestion des produits.
- S’assurera que les changements proposés en matière de produits, de tarification et de gestion des risques sont bien communiqués aux unités fonctionnelles aux fins de mise en œuvre et de mobilisation.
- Travaillera en collaboration avec ses pairs de la société mère et des services des produits, de la tarification et de la souscription de la filiale.
- Fera preuve de leadership éclairé pour aborder des situations diverses et complexes, et pour faire progresser les résultats opérationnels; collaborera avec des intervenants clés (c.-à-d, la Distribution, le Service, la Stratégie, les Données et l’analytique, la Tarification, la Souscription, le Marketing, les Finances et les Réclamations).
- Soutiendra, élaborera et présentera des scénarios d’affaires et des analyses de rendement, au besoin, pour inciter autrui à prendre les mesures recommandées.
