Responsibilities:
The Supply Planning Manager will lead the continuous improvement of our supply chain planning process, with emphasis on capacity and inventory management. You will enhance efficiencies, optimize resources, and deliver continued value to our customers and consumers.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and administer the Supply Network Planning (SNP) System for accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with demand planning teams and mill planners to resolve capacity & supply issues and ensure product availability. Manage supply shortages and facilitate network rebalancing
- Assist with scenario planning for optimized capacity, inventory distribution and minimize carrying costs.
- Analyse long term supply capacity projections. Create and present options for resolving or capitalizing on any long-term supply risks and opportunities respectively. Built and lead action plans to
- successfully implement supply capacity improvements.
- Validate SNP demand data for accurate production planning. Process forecast changes and alert sites for updated production plans. Partner with account managers to ensure customer demands are met.
- Support sales, marketing & mill planning teams during product transitions, launch and discontinuation process.
- Oversee inventory policy parameters, including safety stock and lot sizing.
